While writing the literature review in the thesis we have to write the notes by exploring the literature of the available recent years existing thesis. It makes the process of writing the literature review in a better way if we take notes for our literature review from our observations to write it in one whole chapter of our thesis.

It is quite difficult and challenging task for us to explore the literature and frame the literature review for our thesis research study. Sometimes we may get the essential information’s lately or at the end of the process of writing for the literature review.

Though the exploration of literature is considered as the important process, but it is also necessary to finalize the content of the literature review for the thesis. So we have to stop the active searching of literature review information’s and start to organize the collected information in our thesis.

For writing the literature review chapter in our thesis we have to do the following:

• Synthesizing of the data refers to the process of organizing the analyzed data in the proper order.

• If we do not find the enough information or insufficient data we can again go back to the extracted information and then recollect the data for the process of synthesizing.

• We can again check with the recent year’s literature review that is available for the topic of our thesis work.

• The process of analyzing and synthesizing of the data in the literature review writing in a thesis gives us the better understanding about the topic.

• The purpose of analyzing and synthesizing the data for our thesis provides the detailed knowledge about the gaps of the extracted literature review and provides us with the chance of writing about it in our thesis.

2. Writing the literature review

• Writing of the literature review refers to us as the continuous process of producing the various kinds of information in text by takings notes from the existing literature review and then transforming the gathered information into the polished scientific writings in an organized manner.

• It is nothing but writing the analyzed and synthesized data in a perfect order that should convey the needed information for the readers who are going to read our thesis in future.

• The purpose of discussion helps us to narrate our literature review to our supervisors or to the superior person who guide us in the entire process of writing our thesis work.

• Narrating the progress of our literature review describes how strong we are with our knowledge in the topic of our thesis work.

• The discussion of the literature review is about the iterative, non-structured and multi-layered information that is been processed to seek progress with perfect outcomes. Especially discussions can be done with supervisors, official and non-official guide.

While discussing with our supervisor or guide we should narrate the steps from Where we explored the literature? What kind of information that we focused for writing our literature review? How we had analyzed and synthesized our current literature review that we have for the discussion after writing it?

Sometimes we may have to change the written information with our guide or supervisor’s knowledge as what they explained us during the discussion. The process of keep on changing the content of the literature review in writing the thesis is quite normal; this process is addressed as the continuous writing.

This process really helps us in developing some logic in our multidimensional and multi directional process as we think of our topic. We can get lot of perspectives in writing our findings but we should be able to handle the process by giving the original information which is present at recent years of times and should keep on working with the gathered information to precisely form a literature review for our thesis.

4. Implementing

• Gathering all the required information’s through exploring a lot of recent thesis work on our topic and synthesizing all the analyzed data in written format makes sensible.

• But we should take even more steps in iterating the same task gain and again with the supervisors till we get the proper confirmations in our produced details.

• The iteration process may frustrate us but still we have to motivate ourselves and bring out the standard information that is to be mentioned in our thesis literature review.

• We all should have only one thing in our mind that by doing the repeated process in the writing of literature review does not going to end our thesis work rather it is the proper step that we are following in our thesis work only to move forward to the next step that is never going to end.

• Therefore, the role of several written literature review work is going support the progress of both the process and for the final outcome.

• We should not underestimate and should be clear with what we are doing and often recheck with the guidelines that we may get from the person or from any site for writing a standard literature review in a thesis work.
